More Than Bricks

The Tokyo Station Marunouchi Building is a brick building reinforced with a steel frame. The exposed steel frame can be seen here and there upon closer examination. Stamped on some of the steel beams is “FRODINGHAM IRON & STEEL CO., LTD. ENGLAND”

The photo shows an exposed beam above the door to the second floor lounge.
